July was crazy. Every human person I spoke to last month had LOOMING DEADLINES or Summer projects to wrap up; WORK STUFF seemed to be seeping into everyone's off hours and an inordinate number of friends and acquaintances were MOVING or HAVING BABIES or spending an oddball amount of time on planes, trains, or in automobiles. It could have all been coincidence, but it IS an election year and we ARE in Washington, DC - the city is fast approaching fever pitch and its VIBEZ are becoming EVERYONE'S VIBEZ and that's my theory about all these crazy VIBEZ, okay?
My own version of July insanity was positive, at least, and centered around getting ready for this past Saturday's END OF SUMMER BUMMER at The Fridge. As such, this month's newsletter consists of a handful of the short films that screened as part of the event - I am incredibly proud to present them for the second time.
